i was talking to my coworker Tim-Bob about favorite music the other day. i've always enjoyed playing/listening to music, but the two instruments i LOVE are: acoustic guitar & piano. might be just me, but girls love a guy carrying a guitar case... serenading in the sunset... on the beach... upon the waves of the ocean crashing against the sandy shore of the earth... keke

so anyways, on my morning drive in the little traffic at 9am, i have been jammin' to some classical piano for the past few days, george winston cd to be specific. it is so amazingly beautiful. and with all this engagement/wedding talk going on lately with friends, i have decided that for my wedding (eek, not getting married... just saying), i want it to be all about the PIANO -- what's not to love about a white baby grand Steinway... except that it might steal attention from the bride, ok let's make it black. but yeah, forget the organ playing dun dun-dun-dun! forget the banjo by the polynesian grass-skirt-wearing native! all the instruments accompany the piano, not the other way around! hmm... maybe there should be a harp... haha

...in other news, happy new year!!

today (thurs), some coworkers and i had a special new year's lunch at chosun kalbi... yummy bento boxes! and as "party favors," i made little animals (year of the rat!) out of mandarin oranges (for good luck!). it was maybe a little dorky but definitely fun arts & craft time for me. he-he-he

i should also add that superbowl XLII was a crazy victory for the new york giants. ain't ova until the fat football playa dances!
