"misconception"

chick flick. if you're a guy, first thought that runs through your mind must be, oh no, not another sappy happily ever after movies where the heroine wins the heart of the man of her dreams. if you're a girl, well, you smile and get the popcorn ready!

often overlooked, just like song lyrics in any genre of music, the script of a movie plots relatable content that describes the imperfection of life and complications of situations.  yes, the typical joyous happenings of a chick flick perhaps end with all the cast gathered around a happy occasion with cheesy smiles. but you forget, the storyline led you to find the happiness in a way that differed from the original perception.  somehow the conflicts and dramatic events capture any girls' healthy desire to feel and relate.

root beer floats. either you love it or hate it. my absolute favorite. lots of fond memories come attached to the refreshing frothy deliciousness. slurp.

reminder. when you let your guard down, you allow yourself the privilege to live. to feel freely engulfed in deep sweet sensuality, yet to be exposed in unimaginable hurtful vulnerability.  this weekend i was reminded to be true to myself.

don't look back in anger,
i heard you say,
at least not today.
