oh the simple days of winter

interesting how i quickly lose motivation to blog when i am content with the simplicities of life.  i suppose thats why artists enjoy expressing extremes, whether it be heartbreak or love, sorrow or joy, grief or celebration.

there were times the past few wks when i'd open up a blank screen ready to type an entry.  i'd sit there while the calm cursor steadily blinks awaiting my next move.  oh cursor, you mock me now but you don't even know... just wait until i'm extreme...

- wed, 11/23 - annual thanksgiving potluck dinner with friends
- thurs, 11/24 - thanksgiving potluck lunch with family friends
- fri, 11/25 - san marcos black friday shopping & austin town lake with mom, help tina with invitations
- sat, 11/26 - drive back to dallas, family dinner
- mon, 11/28 - meet up cathy/daniel at jason's deli
- fri, 12/2 - lunch at pho pasteur with sichanh, spring rolls & thai tea, jean/scott's engagement party at stoneleigh hotel & manhattan bar & pluckers
- sat, 12/3 - lunch at pho is for lovers, fair park
- tues, 12/6 - 3rd grade teacher with julie for junior achievement day, stonebriar mall, late dinner at california pizza kitchen with vy/kaustubh/jai
- thurs, 12/8 - lunch at noodle wave with sylvia/jerry
- fri, 12/9 - kansas city with cousins visiting aunt una - family lunch, christmas lights at the plaza, gates barbq for dinner, games
- sat, 12/10 - kansas city - shopping, family lunch, visit uncle leonard with cissi/abra, winstead's for dinner, kauffman center / power&light district / coffee at latteland
- sun, 12/11 - breakfast, fly back to dallas

- fri, 12/16 - work holiday lunch & raffle party, annual holiday dinner at tokyo one
- sat, 12/17 - houston - phong/stina's wedding ceremony at brenner's, gelato blu with steph, cafe 101 with elbert/lucy/heather, phong/stina's wedding reception at kim son, belvedere bar, hotel crash at aloft
- sun, 12/18 - soup not just for 1, drive home to dallas
